Industry Specific Compliance The Revenue Department, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh on September 11, 2026, issued the amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Excise (Compounding of Offences) Rules, 1973.

The amendment revises the wording in Schedule, Sl. No. 2A, Column 2 (Provision in the Act under which the offence falls) by replacing the reference to “till the date of notification issued under the same clause (a)(i)” with the specific date “31.08.2026”, thereby prescribing August 31, 2026 as the applicable cut-off date under the relevant provision.
